1Malaysia: Long and Continuous Journey

Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday during the celebration of Tadau Kaamatan, wants all Malaysia to make the races' integration as a long term mission. He said that the concept of 1Malaysia is not a rigid concept, it is flexible whereas it has an ability to absorb the various and the unique of every culture that exists in Malaysia.

I personally observed the concept of 1Malaysia and it is a good concept but the understanding of it must be made clear my our Prime Minister as well as by the whole government. Moreover, the concept of 1Malaysia can't be a reality if there is still people or any group of people who still left behind in the country development and technology establisment.

So, the government has to play better role to ensure that the public servants are really doing their job to help the citizens and to make the lives of all citizens easier and more comfortable. When people go against the government, it is not because the weaknesses of the government's policies but it is because the failure on the part of public servants to give the best services to the citizens and failure to show a good performance in their jobs.

I think, more "spot check" need to be done on government department and public servants. Birocracy is still here and there. Sometimes publics servants make the things harder for the citizens to involve in the program that has been organized by the government.

To realize the concept of 1Malaysia, these kinds of things need the greatest concern!
