Sometimes, what you need is only a "luck". That's why it's called football.I absolutely can't deny how great the goal by the Russian Arshavin and Foster really made a mistake there. He went to the right way but the force was not sufficient enough to prevent the ball from hitting into the net.
I was very devastated to watch such goal. The mistake started with the defenders not absolutely Foster's fault.
But "luck", what United had for this match, gave the space for United's men to come back from behind when referee decided to penalize the foul committed by Almunia after crashed Rooney to the ground in penalty box.
And Rooney took it perfectly to equalize and that was the greatest hope for United's fans and supporters.
Later in 64th minute of the match, this was the "luck" took place and claimed its position. A long range free kick which was taken by Ryan Giggs should not produce any threat to Arsenal's defenders or Almunia himself but thanks to Abou Diaby for scoring his very own goal to give away three points to United.
What United's men have to do was just celebrating that goal. Sufficient enough to break the Arsenal's men's hearts.
Controversial decison not only when Rooney claimed his penalty but also when the linesman claimed the second goal by Arsenal that should be leveled the game was offside. But here, it wasn't a luck, it a clear cut that Gallas was offside.
Don't get angry. Because sometimes football is about the luck.
Glory Glory Man United!
We are all motivated by a keen desire for praise, and the better a man is, the more he is inspired to glory.Picture's credit:
