149 Are The Victims of Irresponsible Parents

149 quite a big number. 149 is a number of babies dumped since 2009. This number could reflect a bad image of our  nation.

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 149 babies were dumped by their parents from 2009 to August this year, Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Heng Seai Kie said.

She told Parliament of the total, 83 died while 66 survived.

“Fifty-nine babies were boys while 54 were girls. The other 36 babies couldn’t be identified as their bodies were decomposed when they were found,” she said in reply to Datuk Mohd Jidin Shafee (BN - Setiu).

This situation is not good for our nation because the act of dumping shows how inhumane we are. The babies had not done any wrong. If the babies can talk, they will ask "why?". I won't jump to conclusion but logically this dumped babies must be born outside of wedlock.

If we ask who should be blamed. Believe me you won't get the most precisely answer. You can have your own answer but it is not necessarily true. If you see this problem in "A" perspective, then someone else may see in in "B" perspective.

Babies are cute. Why dumped them? I answer this, this way - because those parents want to avoid responsibility. But the question of who or what cause them to be "irresponsible" humans - no accurate answer as they a lot of factor they may lead to that "irresponsible" behavior.

Beware of what you did. Never be a part of inhumane human who dumped the babies.
