Electricity Tariff Is Next? | Are We Ready For The Increase?

People are sensitive with price increasing issues. Whatever excuses given by the Government, they are hard to be approved by the people because people always believe that Government should be able to control the price for the benefits of the people.

And the latest thing I just read is about the possibility of the increment of electricity tariff. I quoted it.

Kenaikkan kadar tarif elektrik di negara ini dijangka akan diumumkan pada 25 Mei ini menurut akhbar harian Cina Nanyang Siang Pau.

Akhbar itu yang memetik sumber berkata kerajaan memilih menaikkan harga elektrik dan bukannya harga petrol RON95 kerana bimbang tindakan itu akan mencetuskan kemarahan besar-besaran rakyat. Justeru, petrol RON95 dijangka kekal buat masa ini.

Impak atau kesan kenaikkan tarif elektrik dikatakan lebih kecil berbanding kenaikkan harga petrol RON95 ke atas kerajaan, dakwa sumber dari jemaah menteri itu.

Then we will be told to control the use of electricity. Foreseeable right? It should be a worry for Government in this situation because people will use this issue of price increasing as the reason to vote others in the coming general election.

I can't wait to see how the Government will really deal with this issue because if it is true "Rakyat Didahulukan" then the people's voice should be a priority in whatever decision that Government intended to make. And people's voice to for the price not to be increased.

Lately too much increasing I think.
