Frankly said, I didn't watch that match between Manchester United v Bayern Leverkusen. It was 3am in the morning (Kuala Lumpur time). If I am not working today, then I probably watch the game.
But it is okay as I still can watch the goal highlights online. Nothing to worry. Despite that I can't get the whole picture of the match from watching the highlights only, I must praise Valencia for his performance. Since he gave up the No.7 shirt and took back his "25", again we can see the "Real" Valencia with his beautiful and accurate cross and his power bomb right-foot goal scoring shot! That's the true Valencia we used to watch before he was given the No.7 shirt.
Champions League is important for Manchester United but it is far more important for the Manager, David Moyes himself because to perform well in Champions League will be hard proof of Moyes' ability at the European stage.
As for Rooney, though the speculation of his move to Chelsea previously and the rumors that he was unhappy at Old Trafford, he is still doing his work on the pitch - and he did it so well - scoring goals and assisting.
4-2 victory is a good start for Red Devils at European level. We are looking forward to move farther in this season campaign of Champions League. We will see how Moyes proves himself at the European stage. How far Moyes can bring United in this year Champions League? There are 5 matches to go and there are still a lot to be done by Moyes and his men.

When asked if he is happy to have remained a Manchester United player after a summer of speculation, Rooney replied positively: "I’m concentrating on my football as I have done all summer. I’ve got my head down and I’ve worked really hard."
"I got myself ready for the season and I’m delighted with the way I have come back. I’m delighted to be back playing and scoring goals."
"I’ve said all along that the fans have been great with me. The reception I get here is always great and hopefully I can repay them with [more] goals like tonight."

Actually bro, Valencia had a quite game last night (morning). We lucky b'cos Leverkusen's defence were shocking and presented us with plenty of chances. We could have win with bigger margin. Rooney-RVP partnership is getting better each day. I'm counting on them to deliver 50++ goals this season.
ReplyDeleteAmbe pun just tgk highlight jer...
ReplyDeletePersembahan yg agak baik dari valencia...harap musim ni, dia kembali menjadi nadi penting Manu...
