Tech dot Com: Why You Shouldn't Text While Walking

We are always reminded to avoid texting, facebooking, tweeting, instagraming while driving. The justification: Doing so may cause us to involve in the car crash or even minor accident.

It is interesting to know that there is an actual risk if you do the above-mentioned activities when you are walking. Noted the word: WALKING.

Researchers at the University of Queensland, Australia has conducted the study on the subject matter.
Texting while walking impairs a person's ability to follow a straight line and keep a normal pace, and may pose risks to pedestrians.
Can you see that. Texting while driving = car crash. Texting while walking - you may fall, trip and/or collide with obstacles or other individuals. Obstacles there could be anything bro. You may collide with tree, with door, with stair, with anything. You might get hit by the lorry if you are texting while crossing the road.

"Texting, and to a lesser extent reading, on your mobile phone affects your ability to walk and balance," said lead author Siobhan Schabrun.

"This may impact the safety of people who text and walk at the same time."

Thus, we should reconsider our act of texting while walking. It may seem not really dangerous, but it is something new to learn. You don't need to believe the result of the study, but it may be useful to us somehow.
