This Accent comes in two models namely 1.6 Litre DOHC CVVT and 1.4 Litre DOHC. The max torque for 1.6 model is 14.8kg.m/4,500rpm and for the 1.4 model, the max torque is 12.7kg.m/4,700 rpm. This is only one little factor which could satisfy the users of this new 2008 Accent.

Hyundai is giving larger space for the interior design of this 2008 Accent for the sake of users feeling more comfortable. when the doors are more sealed to reduce noise. Users have option whether to drive the 1.4 model with manual transmission or to drive the 1.6 model with automatic transmission. Event though the style today is to drive the cars with automatic transmission, but Hyundai realizes that there are drivers who still prefer driving the cars with manual transmission, so to not disappointing this kind of drivers, Hyundai brings two model of new Accent instead of producing only 1.6 model with automatic transmission only.
