Last time we heard Wardina Safiyyah's home was robbed. This time another "actress victim". The thieves were believed to break into her bedroom in which she suffered loss of cash and valuables worth RM1,500.
It was reported that she and her family didn't aware of the theft that occurred in the master bedroom. The master bedroom is on the second floor.
Despite the harmony that we are desired, crime like this just happened. Whether the victims are celebrities, public figure or "nobody", all of them, all of us are equal and law should protect us equally.
It was very disappointing when sometimes we realize just because the person is nobody, he/she was treated less important by the authorities. I am truly aware of this because I used to accompany my friend to make a police report about his lost laptop. And we were told that nothing much can be done (of course we we told in the proper manner). However imagine if the boy is sons of some ministers, how he will be treated? Just food for thought.
But I don't say this happens all the times. But sometimes when it occurs to us or anybody close to us, it an opportunity to have bad impression to the authorities. And we are not the one to be blamed for having such impression.
