As Champions League Continues

I realize one thing. I rarely blog about football recently. But deep in my heart, I  miss so much to blog about football. So here we go as Champions League continues its heat. Early this morning Manchester United met AC Milan at San Siro while Lyon received the visiting Real Madrid. Unfortunately I only woke up at 420am to watch the second half of United and Milan. Both teams had score one goal respectively. Ronaldinho for Milan and scholes for United.

Seriously, it was not a good feeling to see United with only one goal while they played at San Siro. However, Rooney did his job so well by scoring two goals with his head after he got assisted first by Valencia and later by Fletcher. It was an outstanding strategy by Sir Alex to replace Nani with Valencia. Immediately after Valencia entered the field, he did a beautiful cross which precisely completed by Rooney with his head made the situation from 1-1 to 2-1 for United.

2-1 was not a promising one. More goal was needed by United in case Milan scored another goal. And thing really happened. Rooney put the ball into Milan net for his 2nd goal to make 3-1 for United and during the late moment of the game, the Milan subs, Seedorf gave the 2nd goal for Milan. The first leg ended 3-2 with United has three away goal in hand.

United will wait for Milan in Old Trafford and to draw is enough for United to make them qualified to the next stage of the prestigious Champion League!

  3. well, im really not interest in football especially EPL but i ,love more to Malaysia National Team. I support them even when they fight with MU last year and it was interesting! I bet Malaysia can win next match vs MU again, b'coz MU just a football club, not national team so why can we defeat them?? same goes to Thailand when they fight against Liverpool last year. 1-1 majulah sukan utk negara!
(I also MU fan mah.. ) LOL
