There are so many analogies have been made with regard the so called "life" Do you agree if I say that in some perspective, life likes house? So the relevant question to ask is why. Why life likes house? Then I ask you, do you realize that everyday there must be some dirt in your house, doesn't matter whether the dirt are dust, small pieces of paper, food residue, hair or etc.
Life likes that. Everyday we make "dirt" to ourselves. What I mean with "dirt" here is sin. We make sins everyday as dirt in your houses. So we suppose to clean up our houses everyday i.e. sweep the floor. Same goes to our lives. We must always ask forgiveness from Allah to "clean up" our sins.
If you just ignored you houses, it will dirtier and dirtier day by day. So if you "postponed" your duty to ask forgiveness from Allah, the sins will become more and more day by day. We make sins in the sense whether we realize or not. Sometimes we just forget that what we were doing was wrong.
We always say this, "no one is perfect". But to be a good person, you can do it by always executed your obligation to ask forgiveness from Allah everyday. Can you imagine how clean your houses if you sweep the floor everyday, if you clean up the dust on window everyday, if you arrange you stuff nicely everyday? Compare it to our lives if we try to "clean up" ourselves everyday.
p/s: No one escapes from doing sins . . . but people have to change . . . to make less and lesser sins.
