There are many kinds of bloggers in this world. These many kinds of bloggers blog on various issues and they are hoping readers to read those entries and help to increase the traffic for their blogs.
Seriously, this entry might sound prejudicial, but "provocation entries", I must say, is one way of increasing the blog's traffic. Don't get me wrong, I am not in support of this "provocation entries". I just realize when one particular blog entry has the element of provocation, people tend to go and read it, and that blog has possibility to get pretty high traffic.
The easiest example was the Aduka Taruna's entry which had been withdrawn by him. That entry had the element of provocation whether you realize it or not. It was good for him to withdraw such entry. At least he is helping to preserve the public security by withdrew it from his blog.
I may make "false generalization" to say readers love to read the so called "provocation entries". However, wise provocation is not a problem. Others may say this to me, "this is my blog and I have right to write whatever I want". Yerp, you may have right but there is no absolute right.
So, let see thing in another perspective. If you always write on your blog the "provocation entries" towards other people, then imagine if there are 1000 bloggers out there write the "provocation entries" towards you and about you, and the whole world is reading their entries, how do you feel?
Yeah, some bloggers just ignore the issue of being ethical. As long as they can increase the traffic, that's enough. Ethic is not their main concern. My opinion and view may right, may wrong as well. At the end of the day, "provocation entries" will still exist in blogsphere. Whether it is for the purpose of self-satisfaction or for the sake of getting higher traffic, only bloggers who write such entries know it.
