Sodomy: Fair Comment

The trial of the case between Anwar Ibrahim and saiful Bukhari supposed to continue today but it is postponed to tomorrow (Tuesday 9 February) and the counsels for Anwar applied before the court for the current Judge, Datuk Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah J to withdraw from continue hearing the case. However I can assure you that it will be a long trial because it is the so called "high-profile case".

Not only Malaysians are concentrating on this case, but the rest of the world will be, impatiently, waiting for the court's verdict at the end of this case.

I must say the case is very interesting. Forget about the ideologies, forget about which political parties you or I prefer, forget about the previous PRU or the coming PRU because the "substance" of "sodomy trial" is for more vital to be concerned. Even if you are "political haters". I truly believe you can't avoid yourselves to get to know about the progress of this case.

Which statement so far so the most attractive?

I choose what Saiful said that Anwar used to ask him - "Can I f**k you today?

Whether it is true, only Anwar, Saiful and Allah know. Admit this - as the outsiders, it will be hard for us to say whether who is on the right side and who is wrong. It is hard for us to determine the truths and the lies for the meantime. The witnesses will give statements and evidences - they might be reliable and they might be not as well. In the end of the day, Court is the one which will decide, Court will make a verdict, Court will deliver the ratio decidendi for its decision.

When the time comes - still there are people who will keep to condemn the integrity of our court.

But, it is still a long journey and mane thing, expected or unexpected may occur along the trial.
