The first Malaysian double, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong proceeds to the second round of Malaysian Open Badminton Grand Prix Championship after defeating another Malaysian double Goh Sze Onn and Tan Wee Tat in straight set match. Kien Keat and Boon Heong won with points of 21 - 10 and 21 - 12.

Kien Keat and Boon Heong didn't show the consistent performance and the most devastating moment when they lost in crucial match during Thomas Cup. However, defeating their nation mates, doesn't reflect their true capability.

Malaysia never won Thomas Cup since the glorious period of Sidek's family. Malaysian badminton players still have a lot to do because Thomas Cup is the greatest badminton cup and they still must win it.

Malaysia is one of the most recognize nation in this sports. Therefore, our players have to prove that Malaysia not "one of the greatest nation" but is the greatest, highest and toppest nation in badminton.

p/s: But at least badminton player achieve that international level. How about the national football team? when we can see they play against Netherlands in World Cup? Believe me, it hard to be answered especially with confidence.
