They're Keep Rocking!

I realized that lately I posted too much entries on sports. But what I can say, it is some kind of spirit. Sports like football, squash and takraw thrill me so much. So here the progress of our women squash team at the world women’s team squash championship as the booked the place in quarter final. Previously they defeated Hong Kong 3-0.

Malaysia outplay Canada to book quarter-final spot

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia outplayed Canada 3-0 for their second win in Group D to qualify for the quarter-finals of the world women’s squash team championship in Palmerston North, New Zealand, yesterday.

Malaysia, who also beat Hong Kong 3-0 on Monday, will wrap up their group fixtures against fifth seeds New Zealand today.

Malaysia must beat the Kiwis to top the group if they are to avoid facing defending champions and Group C leaders Egypt in the quarter-finals.

With world No. 16 and national No. 2 Low Wee Wern rested for the second consecutive game, veteran Sharon Wee was fielded in the first tie and she duly delivered the first point – defeating Stephanie Edmison 11-6, 11-8, 11-7.

World No. 1 Nicol David then took just 26 minutes to hammer Miranda Ranieri 11-9, 11-3, 11-4 for the winning point.

Delia Arnold then completed the rout by disposing of Alex Norman 11-7, 11-8, 12-10.
