Cyber Warfare School | A Move Government of Malaysia Should Consider

These recent days, the so called "war" has move another level. The Cyber War. Basically, however, it is not that new because hackers have existed for quite sometimes even though the term "war" itself is inappropriate to be linked to hackers.

But "hackers" acting on behalf of the government invading or breaching other governments' systems could be considered as waging war against other countries.

Thus, in South Korea, its military force has move to establish a cyber warfare school. The main purpose is as preparation to combat growing Internet attacks from North Korea.

'We... seek to nurture warriors to fight in cyber warfare amid growing cyber-terror threats from North Korea and to secure a stable supply of specialists,' the army said in a statement. The military will pay tuition for the students who upon graduation will become army officers required to work in online warfare-related units for the following seven years, the spokesman said.

I think our Malaysian Government should consider this move taken by South Korea. For the last few weeks when Anonymous hacked into few Government websites, we seems quite unprepared. The number of websites been hacked quite big.

Cyber Space is not a little tiny thing anymore. People could do everything in it. Even Government is blocking some file-sharing websites, people will be getting more creative and trying to find another way to download stuff. Issue not resolved!
