Thailand is done with its general election and that country has suffered internal conflict for quite some times. Approximately six years. Now, from the election result, people of Thailand are looking forward for more stable, peaceful and harmony country.
The opposition party, Puea Thai Party, won by huge majority and Yingluck Shinawatra will be Thailand's first female prime minister. 313 seats belong to Puea Thai Party compared to only 152 for Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's ruling Democrats. It was said that Yingluck Shinawatra is the key to the success of Puea Thai Party.
She is 44 years old woman with business background and she has captured the heart of Thais. But the question of her capability will not be answered until she starts to work and show to Thai people good result of her government's policies.
I personally believe it is not only Thai people are hoping to see big changes in Thailand. The countries around Thailand, specifically the ASEAN countries are observing - they will be observing how this Thailand's first female prime minister will administer the country.
Lets wait and see!
