Seriously, I am wondering how the Ministry would come to the idea of allowing students to bring along their mobile devices to schools.
Are you kidding me? There are many other methods to cope with rapid development of technology instead of allowing students to bring mobile devices to schools.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong justified by statingh as follow:
“When the 1Bestari is in place, you will get free wifi. We want to provide the virtual learning environment so that students can use their gadgets to learn and do their revision.
“The world is totally different now. This is a trend. We can't stop that,” he told reporters after chairing the student discipline committee meeting in Putrajaya.

The schools should be imposed with responsibilities to set up the proper virtual learning environment. The use of computers, laptops, and other multimedia stuff available in school should be sufficient for the so called "virtual learning environment".
It seems that the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is against Ministry's proposal and I must agree with PTA because it will cause more negative than positive effects.
I'm not trying to be negative, but how schools will be able to ensure the students will not abuse the use of mobile devices that they bring to schools?
As far as this issue is concerns, it is just a proposal, so voice-up via social networks, newspapers, blogs or anything whether you agree or disagree with this Ministry's proposal.
And I say I won't favor this idea because if you're talking about "virtual learning environment", other methods should be considered.
