2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Guide: The Groups

We are less than 2 months to witness the most celebrated football event in World. This year hosted by Brazil. The groups have been decided.Which countries will make it through the group stage and continue their journey to victory, glory and fame of FIFA World Cup? Pick up your team and lets see what will happen starting 12 June 2014.

The host is in Group A while the reigning Champion Spain is in Group B. The Author believe the teams in group B will be having tough time when they meet the reigning Champion. The interesting part is 2010 Fifa WC is also in Group B.

The Author hopes Japan and England will make it through to the next stage. England only won WC once when England hosted the event in 1966. Despite Premier League is one of the most notable league in the world, but it seems the National Team of England did not do so well at WC stage.

Group E favorite will be France which The Author hopes France will be doing better this time compared to the poor performance in 2010 WC in Africa. It is not fair to say so but Argentina seems to have kinda of easy path to make it through the group stage unless something extraordinary happens in Group F.

Germany and Belgium have same colors of flag. One goes horizontal and one goes vertical. In Group G, Germany and Portugal won't make things easier to each other. But we must not forget USA capability in "soccer". While in group H, The Author does not know what to expect. But it is good to see Korea Republic making it to the  next stage.
