I've decided to begin posting the #MusicMonday entry every Monday starting from today. How one can separate music from his life? And music has its own way of sending messages or expressing one's feelings.
Each time I listen to this song, it reminds me of my hometown (of course my hometown of is not West Virginia). But the idea is simple, how far you go, deep in your heart, you always want to return to your hometown - its where every aspect of one's life had begun.
Take Me Home, Country Roads is the reason I started to listen to country song. It is my first favorite country song. I have a few other Denver's song in my list of favorite country songs. Recently I have listened to Christian Kane's songs. And I just know him after watching the Leverage TV series.
Feel its beauty.

Take Me Home, Country Roads Lyrics
Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains
Shenandoah River.
Life is old there,
Older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains
Growin' like a breeze.
[Chorus]
Country roads, take me home
To the place where I belong:
West Virginia, mountain momma,
Take me home, country roads.
All my memories gathered 'round her,
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water.
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky,
Misty taste of moonshine,
Teardrop in my eye.
[Chorus]
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong:
West Virginia, mountain momma,
Take me home, country roads.
I hear her voice, in the mornin' hour she calls me,
Radio reminds me of my home far away
And driving down the road I get a feeling that
I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
[Chorus]
Country roads, take me home
To the place where I belong:
West Virginia, mountain momma,
Take me home, country roads.
Feel its beauty.
