Football is not all about scoring the goal. It is nonsense if you are able to score but you are not able to defend your very own net. Maybe on this ground Man United continues the defender Vidic's contract for another 4 years and he will remain in Old Trafford at least until 2014.
Playing for United since he was young, Vidic developed so much as the centre back and he is also entrusted by Sir Alex for the captaincy. His latest achievement as the captain when he helped United won the recent Community Shield againts Chelsea.
And most important, he happy to resume his commitment to the club.
With Vidic remains at Old Trafford, all "Uniteds" around the world are hoping that he will keep on defending - playing and executing his role - to make sure all cups that suppose to be in Old Trafford are coming back to Old Trafford this season.

Vidic, who has made 188 appearances since joining United in January 2006, told ManUtd.com: "I am very happy to sign this contract. I came to this club when I was young and have developed enormously with the help of the manager, coaching staff and my team-mates.
"During my time here we have had a lot of success and I look forward to continuing that success in the coming seasons."
