Space Invaders On Watch | Tribute To The Famous Arcade Game of 80s

If you are 80s kids, Space Invaders should be sound familiar to you. Unless you were not exposed to the arcade or console games when you were kids. Space Invaders was a phenomenon since it was created in 1978 by Tomohiro Nishikado. Space Invaders was a reason for the success of Atari 2600 game system because in 1980 people purchased Atari 2600 during holiday season in order for them to play Space Invaders.

Space Invaders is a true giant of the arcade world - a classic shooting game where the player fires a laser at rows of descending space aliens, while moving horizontally across the bottom of the screen.

But what encourage me to blog about Space Invaders is because of the nice work by R-J Romaine Jerome, the innovative watchmaker who pays tribute to this famous eighties arcade game.

The distinctive Space Invaders icons feature on the dial of the watch, against a satin-brushed black backdrop.

To enhance its overall outer space theme, the case of the watch is designed like a space vessel.

It has four ball-and-socket joints that work to hold the lug of the rubber straps and allow them to be adjustable.

Looking at the picture itself, I personally feel that it is a nice job by Mr. Jerome. At least it brings back the beautiful memory of 80s. It will remind the grown up people nowadays who born in 80s that they used to be there enjoying how fantastic the 80s was.

I hope I could get one of it. It will be nostalgic. It will bring lots of memories of how I spent a lot of time playing the console - you name it - Mario Brothers, Bomberman, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Tetris. Ah, it was seriously good time as kid!

Suddenly feel like going back to 80s!!
