When you start obsessing something/someone in unreasonable manner, you disregard all the wrong they made and the choice left is to blame others.

Reason: So that something/someone always right like they are angels or something.

Normally you see these in politics and football. Mostly in politics. Go to youtube.com, search for PKR Bertam Night, read comments from those who are PKRs or PRs. How they might feel they are like angels that never make mistakes and keep blaming other and accused other for defamation.
