There are a lot of bloggers out there using CommentLuv plugin to enable their readers and visitors to write comments on their blogs. Yes, I spend plenty of time reading blog entries and sometimes I write my comments there.
We know the advantage of CommentLuv for those commentators is that it will show the latest post of the commentators' blogs. Hence it creates a backlink and other readers/visitors may click on the link to read that particular entry. It helps increasing visits/unique visits to the blog.
For last few days I was in "frustrated mode" because my Recent Post did not appear each time I wrote comments on the blogs that use the CommentLuv plugin. The following error appears when CommentLuv looking for the feeds of my blog:
I took almost three days searching for the solutions, browsing a lot websites, reading plenty of recommended methods to fix the problem and finally the efforts were paid. This problem occurs just because your blog is missing a bit of code in your sites header.
So to solve the above problem especially for Blogspot (Blogger) users, just add the following code immediately after the < head> tag:
< link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="My blogspot posts Feed" href="http://mysite.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default" />
Change the red url with your very own blog URL. And you can also change the title to your own title. For example by replacing with your blog name or your blog title or anything you desire.
Notes:
I intentionally made a space between "<" and the "link" at the beginning of the above code because if I'm doing so the code will not appear in blog post. Yeah, I still need to learn a lot.
