The Brand New of FA Cup Trophy 2014

Manchester United won the Community Shield during the opening of 2013/2014 Barclay's Premier League. Towards the end of the season, Manchester City won Carling Cup and eventually crowned with Premier League which caused Liverpool's misery of not winning Premier League continues. Chelsea thought they had chance to win Champions League but they are not.

However it seems Arsenal have one more chance to put its name in the list of trophy winners for this season together with Manchester United and Manchester City. 2014 FA Cup trophy is a brand new. Whether Arsenal win FA Cup or Hull City win the FA Cup , one of them will touch the brand new FA Cup trophy.

The 2014 trophy will replace the 1992 edition, which in turn replaced the first iteration of the current design in 1911, and will be presented to the winning captain by HRH The Duke of Cambridge.

The brand new FA Cup trophy is made by Thomas Lyte of London, one of the most renowned silversmiths in the world. 6.3kg of sterling silver were used to build the 2014 FA Cup trophy and it stands at 61.5cm. The FA will keep the 1992 trophy at Wembley Stadium.
