In The Middle of Excitement

If we think that everyone is enjoying the big event of world cup, think again. I belief most of us are in the middle of the world cup excitement especially for those who love football so much. However, while we are in the middle of world cup excitement, we must not forget the tragedy of Mavi Marmara and Rachel Corrie when these two humanitarian aid ships were attacked by Zionis Army. We must not forget the misery of Palestine people.

They (Palestine people) have not time for world cup. They might not even know which teams proceed to the quarter finals. They might not even know Higuain scored hat trick at the world cup. They might not even know how weak England is and how good Germany is. They have no time for all that things. What they know they must survive and keep fighting for their land.

So, while we are in the middle of world cup excitement, we must never forget our obligations towards our brothers and sisters in Palestine. The best thing we can do is to keep praying so Allah will help them with whatever they are doing right now and what they will do in the future. They are our brothers and sisters. We may not be able to go there and fighting together with them but we can pray and we can also help them in some other ways such as donation and organize the campaign about how crucial the Palestine issue towards Muslims in Malaysia.

While we are in the middle of this excitement, we must never forget, must never forget. Never forget that the fight of Palestine people is our fight too. Their misery is our misery because they are our Muslim brothers and sisters. May Allah bless and help our brothers and sisters in Palestine. We want let them know, even though world is celebrating the world cup but we Muslims in Malaysia never forget about them.
