Mock Trial | Faizal Nizam & Associates v Hafizah, Syai and Co. | Just An Academic Purpose

Mock trial is over and now I really can look forward for holiday. If you are wondering what the heck mock trial is. Here is the definition:

Mock trial refers to a simulation trial. Mock trial is conducted by law students to understand trial rules and processes in a trial. It is different from moot court. A mock trial simulate lower-court trials, however, moot court simulates appellate court hearings. All the procedures in an original trial will be conducted in a mock trial, but in an abbreviated form.

The mock trial was between my firm Faizal Nizam & Associates and Hafizah, Syai and Co. My firm acting as a prosecution team and Hafizah, Syai and Co. acting as a defense team representing the accused who was charged for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

It was fun actually even though prior to it, we had suffered a little bit to prepare for it. Thanks to my fellow firm mates as well as the members of Hafizah, Syai and Co. for our mock trial today. We learned a lot from this work and I believe it will prepare ourselves for the future challenges and in the same time we could build a better friendship.

Being professional is important, but you don't have to be so arrogant treating your friends like they are not even your friends just because of the mock trial which is been conducted for academic purpose only. You need attitude adjustment.
