Another Abandoned Baby

I don't know. This problem, if not happens everyday, it does "almost" everyday.

TAPAH: A baby boy was found abandoned under a bridge near the Sungai Klah Hot Springs, 1km from the Sungai Klah Felda housing scheme, yesterday.

Nurul Ain Zakaria, 16, found the 1.9kg baby as she was crossing the bridge while returning from Sungai Tesong with her family at 5.40pm.

Tapah deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Abdullah Arshad said the girl had stopped at the bridge to wait for her mother and brother when she heard the baby’s cries.

When her mother arrived, they looked around the area and Nurul found the baby, with its umbilical cord still attached, in some bushes.

The girl’s mother, Alun Sabri, 51, called the police and the baby was sent to the Sungkai Health clinic. He was later transferred to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.

“The doctor’s report revealed that the baby was two hours’ old and had some wounds in the left ear, left finger and nose from ant bites.

“Police also found a spot covered in blood near the scene and swabs have been taken,” said Abdullah.

Police will try to trace the identity of the mother with the help of hospitals and clinics in the area.

I don't want to jump to conclusion but who else will abandone their babies, if not our youngsters who "gone too far" in their so called "love life". The more disappoint me is that is happend in my state.

p/s: Apakata kita renungkan sejenak Sajak Ini kerana apabila masalah-masalah sosial sebegini terjadi, kita pun barangkali menanggung dosanya juga.
