Champions League: United Moves To Knockout Stage

Early this morning (around 540am), before I switched off the TV, the last sentence I heard from the commentator was "Berbatov had a frustrating match". He did get some good chances but he failed to complete them.

However 1-1 is enough for United to end the group stage at the top of group C. Overall, the performance is average. There were few lousy passing made by United's men. Berbatov got a chance of one on one with Valencia goalkeeper but it ended with nothing.

Michael Carrick did a mistake which gave a way for Valencia to lead in 32th minute - scored by Pablo Hernandez. Half time 1-0.

Thanks to Anderson's equalizer in second half that help United to be at the top of group C avoiding other groups' champions.

So, as we know, knockout stage will be harder and United cannot afford any mistake. It is important to win and just win. We want the Champion League again.

The different line up produces the different result. That's the thing. I still feel devastating with the line up during Carling Cup match against West Ham where United lost 0-4. It is not because they lost, but their game play really failed to impress the manager.

But lets look forward. There are other silverware to be aimed and there are still a lot of matches to go.

bro..there's no room for mistake again in next match..

Berbatov banyak peluang, peluang terbaik yg depan gol, aku rasa better shoot terus..

game pagi tadi, mcm banyak teragak-agak..sebab tu Carrick buat silap..dan bg aku dah tak payah nak acah2 sgt masa dalam ruang bertahan..pemain lwn sekarang banyak yg bijak2..

United did very well to get the draw. Obviously, SAF has one-eye on Arsenal and Chelsea games next week. The team played with a bit cautious and only shifted to a higher gear when Valencia took the lead. Anderson was marvelous throughout the game, Rooney look very sharp and dangerous, while Berbatov.. well, just Berbatov again - never know what we gonna get from this guy. Excellent result. Hopefully, nothing serious with Rio's injury.

betul tu bro. agree. passing pun banyak tak sampai. line up kali ni ter efek drpd kekalahan dengan west ham hari tu kot. knockout pun stage memang kene perfect game play.

Berbatov has it up and down. he is inconsistent. that's the problem. and yes, Rooney is improving. good for him. Andeson's goal, we should thankful to Park, it started with his long range shoot. GGMU!
