Nation: 16 September 1963 | The 49th Malaysia Day

It's been a while since the last time I updated this blog. And I think today is just a good day to write something especially in conjunction with Malaysia Day 16 September 2012. In recent years we've been celebrating Malaysia Day in which I truly believe it should be done a long time ago to show our appreciation to Sabah and Sarawak for joining Semenang Malaysia (previously known as Tanah Melayu) to build what we know today as Malaysia.

Though we are may from any state from Semenang Malaysia or Sabah or Sarawak, we are referring ourselves as Malaysians. By having Sabah and Sarawak as part and partial of Malaysia, we have more colourful cultures, languages, music, food and etc. And today I have quite plenty friends from Sabah and Sarawak and it is an honour to know them and to learn something about both their states.

If you're looking for some history about how Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak becomes one known as Malaysia, you could just Google it because I believe many bloggers out there must have been writing about the history of 16 September 1963 and whether they take the history in positive or negative views, that's their rights to do so.

As for me, I always believe Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak is just a beautiful combination and as long as we Respect each other, we have nothing to loose. And I dedicate this entry of 16 September 2012 to my fellow Sabah and Sarawak friends. It is good to know all of you though I've not even been at Sabah or Sarawak but I know I will one day. It is good to know all of the good fellow of Sabah and Sarawak and may we do some good things for our country one day.

Malaysia!
