The Derby: Manchester United vs Manchester City 12 April 2015

Good day readers. Sometimes life could be very frustrated especially when you've a bunch of "no-brain" politicians running the government. Thus lets talk about Manchester derby as I personally believes the derby is less frustrated than the news about the increment of wages for Members of Parliament.

The Manchester derby is possibly one of the most awaited matches in Barclay's Premier League. United will home the derby with only one point separates both clubs. Both United and City are in the top four of the league.

City Did Better in the Last 6 BPL Matches

In the previous six Premier League matches between United and City, City won 5 of them. Van Gaal must pay attention to these records. As we're approaching the end of the season, it is very crucial for United to win all remaining matches especially the derby victory.

Manchester United's Starting XI

Goalkeeper: David de Gea remains as a favorite goalkeeper. But we can't be sure if the Manager desires to put Victor Valdes to test in this very important clash.

But I say it will be David.

Defenders: Last week against Villa, United's defenders did quite well and there's possibility that Louis van Gaal will stick with the same defenders namely, Valencia, Jones, Rojo and Blind. But Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw are coming back from illness and injury.

So I say it will be Valencia, Jones, Smalling and Blind

Midfielders: I hope Herrera and Mata are in the Manager's staring XI against City. And the Manager probably maintains the other three as well. But it is also good to see di Maria dan Falcoa start against City.

Thus I suppose it will be Herrera, Mata, Carrick, di Maria and Falcao.

Strikers: The one and only Wayne Rooney.

It was February 2011. Wayne Rooney's goal against City that every United fans it the world will remember. The victorious moment that we hope will happen again tomorrow evening (Sunday). It may be pretty difficult to climb to the top of league but beating Manchester City will be very meaningful.

Prediction

Despite the fact that City won 5 times over United from previous 6 BPL matches, United did well in the last few matches of this season compared to City. One one hand United must keep their pace and performance while on the other hand, City must bounce back from 1-2 lost to Crystal Palace last week. Both teams have their missions and want to win this match but I say 2-1 for United. Whatever happens United must win.
