He Went Distance With Champ By 15 Rounds

Previously I reviewed the old movie called Hackers. I don't even know if the hackers in this era could agree with what had been envisaged in that movie.

Alright fellas, this time, another old movie which I must say one of the most inspiring movies I ever watched.

So here we go ::

Rocky in 1976 (I was born in 1986) was the first part of the sequel of Rocky's movies. I did watch Rocky on TV, and if I'm not mistaken I watched in in 90's. I was a little kid that time.

So that time, I was not really inspired by that movie. But now when I watched it again and again, it is inspiring. I learnt that "Southpaw" means left-handed. I think it is a cool term.

The story began in Philadelphia. It is a story about the man named Rocky who is an amateur boxer. One thing about Rocky, he loves animals so damn much.

Hey! Your old man
did pretty good tonight.

Why weren't you there, huh? You shoulda
seen me. You guys hungry? No?

-Rocky talked to his fish-

He didn't have much money. He didn't have a lot of properties. He worked with Gazzo collecting debt to feed himself beside fighting in the ring.

Mr Gazzo says I should get the 200
or break your thumb.

-Rocky threatened a man who in debt with Gazzo-

But he got a pair of strong hands which will change his life. Rocky not even know one day he will be a huge star of boxing. But he had that dream.

Later then, he got the chance to be in the ring with the world champion, Apollo Creed. The way he prepared and trained for that match, I think that is an inspiring part of this movie.

He didn't won the match against Apollo but he went a distance by 15 rounds and there the long story of Rocky continues. But the spirit of fighting up to 15 rounds is even more inspiring.

I'm having a mix feeling when I watched this movie again and again.

  3. i ever was just a big fan of boxing-themed movies like rocky or million dollar baby.

but then again i do enjoy watching million dollar baby because hilary swank, probably one of the most talented actress out there, had done a stupendous performance in that movie.

    agree?
